Through expert repair and careful restoration, we're able to extend the life of our products, thereby conserving resources and nurturing a culture of sustainability among our customers.
Embracing Carbon Neutral Shipping
The undeniable truth is that ecommerce deliveries leave a carbon footprint. It's a stark reality of our digital age, and we're not turning a blind eye. Instead, we've chosen to support innovative companies that are pioneering the removal of carbon from our atmosphere.
Collectively, we and other participating businesses have achieved incredible results. To date, we've:
- Removed thousands of tonnes of carbon from the atmosphere
- Provided carbon-neutral shipping for millions of orders
So, how does it work? With every order we receive, a formula calculates the estimated shipping emissions. We then allocate a portion of our revenue to support carbon removal companies, rigorously vetted by scientists from Carbon Direct. This funding enables these companies to offset the carbon our shipments create. Additionally, any surplus funds are channeled into advancing the development of carbon removal technologies.
